Don't worry, you'll see it in person at the M&G.

Just an update, I'm finally finished with smoothing it out. I really took my time on it to make it as perfect as possible. There's only one spot that I'm ... slightly not happy with, but I can swallow that to get the carPC back together. I miss having something to listen to other than the exhaust when I drive Red Alert.

Here's a sneak peak -- and the one spot that I'm not happy with is in this pic. This is very wet black primer.

I was never a fan of making stuff look way off the rocker and moving things. but on mp3 car it shows you step by step how to move the heater controls.

Put down a layer of the black paint today -- not the primer. I can't wait.

                        Bezel is finished and installed.

Now I just need to figure out where to mount the motherboard, hard drive, and power supply... buy an amp and then wire the carPC's audio out to the amp and the amp to the speakers.

Trust me, it's gonna be hard but I gotta do it. I even won't be going to Woodward to ensure the M&G is really the unveiling. In all honesty, I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend and my Grandma is going to stay with us for a week as soon as my mom picks her up this afternoon. She might even go to the M&G for a little bit, but I'm not sure. I drove to work with teh bezel installed today and man does it look great. Admittedly, I scratched one section of it and had to use touch-up paint to fill it in. Doesn't show unless the sun shines directly on the spot, so I think it's OK and I won't have to repaint the whole bezel.
