Well I know its been a loooong time since I've posted on here so figured I'd start back up again. I've got a slight problem. I hooked up my system again because its not winter anymore and now whenever I turn my damn car off the amp stays on. Now I've had this problem once before and I somehow got it to stop doing it. But I have no clue how the hell I fixed it last time. So my question is did I hook up a wrong wire somewhere or what?? If anyone has any info or suggestions on what I should do it would be GREATLY appreciated. I don't want to kill another battery......lord knows I've killed enuff of them. Thanks in advance.

ya sounds like the remote wire fell off, or is hooked up incorrectly.
some of the wiring behind the head unit most likely came loose, or the remote wire's shielding came off somewhere, If its not a loose wire at either end, get another wire and hook it up... if the new wire fixes it, tie it to the old wire and pull it thru the car.sigpic

Well checked all the wires and everything....seems fine but still have the same problem with the amp. So I'm just gunna make a kill switch for my amp until it gets nice enuff for me to pull and replace all my wires for better gauge wires. But until then I'll just do that and see what happens from there. I'm still gunna check out everything and see if I can solve the problem or not but I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks again. On a good ntoe I did get my new laptop so I'll be playing with it for a while.Theres more to life than horsepower, but what kind of life is it?

Take a set of hot wire testers, the ones with the ground wire and by touching the hot wire the bulb lights up. And then turn the key to the on position and find your two power wires. One should be on all the time, and the other will only come on in the accessory and the on positions. Hook into the wire that is not on all the time, or just do what your gonna do and hook up a switch so you can turn them on and off as you please. Good lucksigpic
