  • Where did you guys mount your amp?

I was planning out my system installation the other day and can't figure out where to mount my amp. I'm running 1 Kenwood 10" sub in a stealthbox and I have Ttops. Most would just mount to the top of the rear end hump but I don't want it there if at all possible. First thing that came to mind was to mount it to the downside of the rear end hump but after putting my Ttops in the slots they go in I don't have clearance. The amp is only a 250w MTX that measures like 8x5x1 3/4. Any ideas?

I dunno. I've seen people mount amps there before.

I have t-tops, and mine is just mounted right on the flat area behind the rear seats...

Rolo, you have a pic of the amp rack you were talkign about?

Yeah, it glows blue at night...

But when I put my new sub box in (regular dual sub box), I won't really be able to put my t-tops in the back anymore...

Think you could get one from inside the car looking back? I want to see the exact fit of it. How much did you pay? PM me the pics and details. I'm leaving for upnorth in a few minutes and will be so overwhelmed with like 10000 new posts by the time I get online I'll forget to check my own!

I don't recall ever mouthing mine. Could be dangerous if there is power to it.
