Well, looking AGAIN, I turned up these, they seem to produce the widest range of sound, are very efficent, and well, look like they should work. Someone please let me know if otherwise, Id like to order them tomorrow.

Nevermind, the tweeter sticks out WAY to far. Looking at these now.

I was just looking at some car audio stuff, this is all so new to me, and several people have removed the tweeters from there 2 ways, think this could be done with these since they only get bass/midbass signal anyways?

Stopped by the local car stereo place (Dukes) they weren't much help, they just told me to pull the wires from the hatch and put whatever i want in, pushing me toward some 200 dollar Boston's.

So when you put your front speakers in, did you just leave the monsoon amp in there to power them?

Ok, so I plan on getting something today, polk audio db651's or another set of kappas.

                      What does everyone think?

                          f pollk seriously.

get the kappas over the polks and save urself.

when i say builtin amp i mean they are powered by the monsoon. just some fbodys have to power a pink wire in the radio harness to turn them on.

i worked at dukes for 3 years. they suck my ballls. and so does boston.

yes some speakeers make it easy to remove the tweeter, they all should but oh well.

and fyi picked up a Alpine 9885 and it seriosuly sounds awesome. 5x better then my panasonic cdq-7413u!
