Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Rockfords also get INCREDIBLY hot. I'm not talking warm, I am talking melt-things hot. You'd have to get some extra fans put on that beast...
Now...JL Audio and Kicker make badass amps. ADS made sweet shit too, but they went under (My dad's truck has a 6-channel ADS amps with ADS mids and tweeters, and 2 x Kicker 6" subs behind the seats).
If you have two subs, I'm assuming you'll bridge all four channels to power the subs (so the power is "split"), you'll be fine.
You don't really need a 4-channel amp, but whatever...
Well for under $25 bucks you can get some awfully sharp hard drive coolers and other computer parts. They run on 12v so can be hard wired right in and you'll need to do a little bit of case modding to the amp but you can get them running on a nice cool temp.
Now are audio sponsor is that out of Michigan or is a website and there out of like Georgia or something?
And with people telling you to go to an audio store. Depending on the price if you look and get recommendations at audio stores maybe check at places like best buy and see if they have the same one any cheaper. Also if your not looking for a huge high end bumpin system to go and win comps with... Hit up pawn shops. I mean everything there is probably stolen but hey... you can get some decent equipment from them and a lot of times there in decent boxes two...Or at least around here.
Hard Drive coolers are too small. I'd flat out build a shroud and get a pair of 120mm, or bigger computer fans.
All of the problem with some of the 120mm is they start getting louder. the hard drive coolers well atleats the two that i have a extremely quite and keep everything runnign very cool. Thats what i've seen on quite a few amps are hard drive coolers or making them liquid cooled.
