  • VRE Project Turbo Mustang @ Ubly

I know this vehicle isn't popular on this forum, but wanted to post some cool video andy way. The vehicle is a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra, and we were contacted to put together a high perfomance daily driver. We decieded to go with a single 76mm turbo, but keep the engine stock cubic inch. The car is essentially a daily driver, 93 octane, but runs mid 9's at over 150mph.

That's a slick setup. I checked it out at M12, too bad traction sucked so your exhibition run didn't work out.

Nice ride, and it's the good looking Mustang body style as well.

My car drives great on the street but I do trailer it to the track. If the car is ever going to break that is where it would happen.

It is all torn apart now for some safty upgrades. We are adding a cage to the vehicle as well a some larger brakes. It will still be driven on the streets, and we are hoping to hit it with 26psi on the track. Should be a pretty fun summer.
