his car should be right around 400 at the rear...my favorite thing about jeffs car, is that we drove to the track (1.5 hours) parked, popped the hood, jeff took a piss, i smoked a cig, then he ran, and cut the 11.80....and then we drove home, some guys that trailer their cars cant cut those kinds of times...i kid you not, when they say "full weight", thats jeffs car, im talkin backpack, camera, pop bottles, clothes....i think he even had a folding chair in there lol congrats jefff....i love that pic on the second launch it ALMOST looks like the fronts are comin up lol! musta been a kick ass camera man

                    swweeetttt.
                    faster than me now.

                    Here a tip
when doing a burnout let off the brake or line loc while still doing the burnout out of the water box. Alot of times the water is pulled out of the box and if you "roll" through it like you did the tires will be wet again.

most of the time my car will tag the limiter when I release the line loc and move forward because I find more water

My car hasn't been on a dyno in this configuration but I assume with a locked converter on a dynojet it would see 400rwhp or so as Erik mentioned. I'm definatly gonna be looking into getting a set of drag wheels (bogarts) once the rear and suspension are finished but if not I'll see if I can't get those 17s up high enough to slip some paper underneath lol for 245s those DRs do pretty well.

Thanks for the advice Larry I'll definatly try that next time as that may have cause my spinning on my final pass. I was always worried of smacking the limiter rolling out of the line lock but thats why its there anyways. Next spring we'll have to line up on motor for fun.

I have only hit the limiter once. Now I just keep the rpm lower during the burnout. I roll farther into the throttle when exiting the water so the car won't grap and shock the driveline.

we can line up next year. Hoping I can find my lost power(car is off about 4-5mph) this winter. Think the valve springs and guides are toast. If I can get it back the way it used to be with the way it hooks now I hope for a 10.9x NA

the good thing about auto's is. They don't stall when you launch them.

lol nope no stalling here when it launches. I'll definatly have to carry out the burnout like that though. If you get your car running right its gonna take quite a bit for me to match it but I'll certaintly give it a try, I'm not quite sure how much I'll pick up with some 3.73s but I know if can cut some 1.5 60's with a torque arm at least.

we are hoping its just in the heads. if not I'm screwed cause I don't have money to re-ring and bearing the shortblock.
I will probably faceplate the trans, add a blow-proof bellhousing. I need to get rid of this 12 bolt and get a 9inch

Well I'm hoping for the best because I know what its like to have it sit due to no cash. Funny thing is I'm gonna buy a 9" myself even though I probably don't need it I wanna buy a rear once and be set otherwise I'd consider your 12 bolt.
