  • Opening Car Audio Shop

Im going to be opening a car audio store in grand blanc hopefully within the next month or so. I will be able to get any kind of sub your looking for and amps also. But im thinking of only carrying Kicker, Pioneer, Diamond for subs amps and door speakers. Pioneer and Alpine for head units. Tons of audio acessories. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions about more products. Im doing jobs right now and can get anything through the custom shop im working at. Thanks

cobalt, i got a guy that tints cars that does a great job, he did angies taurus and it turned out great, he does it for about half of what shops charge, actually closer to a third, and he uses Solar Guard HP tint, its great stuff and never fades its color, pm me if you want his number and i'll get you a quote

Critical mass is great for their dealers. Send me a pm and I'll give you their info. Start small with just a few lines, check out what other area dealers have, and go light on those so you don't have to match prices too much. Kicker I have had a few bad products lately.

directed is allright if you get into their higher end type products, we have alot of them come back to the shop for service. Also alot of people dont know about them as much as lets say Kicker and thoes type of name brands. They make good accessories to go into a system. I dont want to carry tons of brands then you start confusing people with what they want and need, im trying to keep it pretty simple, but i can order anything someone wants if i cant help them out. Memphis is alot the same lines, i know thier mojo subs are loud but again people dont really think about them as much for subs so if i can stock major brands or ones i like ill do that then special order things. I will forusre put a word out on when it opens and have some kind of event or killer sales on something. If i get a storefront place rather than getting a house that is zoned commerical and turning my garage into a garage and adding on a show room then i will forsure host car shows as much as possible with like giveaways or something along thoes lines. thanks for the input!

Make sure and have a couple of suppliers of teh same products too, it makes it easier if one is out, and you can get better deals from them if they know they have to beat anothers price (I have 3 for Swiss)
