Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I work for a company that has things chromed and it DOES NOT weaken the wheel. Thats a line of bull shit. Our supplier does chroming for the major automakers and they do the rims too. So it would be pointless if it weakened the wheel.

And another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end. -Homer Simpson
I'd say just buy any other chrome wheel with what you'll be spending. There are definatly enough rims in the world to make your car different from others, the sald shooters (chrome or not) look gay but thats just me.
i had originally considered chrome salad shooters for my car(she came with the hubbies and steelies), but changed my mind and decided to go with something 17". THen I got the NZO's (which suck as far as quality), and now I have Cragar's(Bullitt style) in gunmetal.

Chroming does make metal more brittle, on a street car makes no difference, on a race only car that is subjecting parts to extreme loads it makes a difference. Flint bumper mart does decent work fairly cheap, there is only one other place I know that does good work, they are in Tenessee, and it is the best in the nation, backlog is 2 years (flint bumper mart does pretty close to what the factory has which is a step below show quality)
