Thanks to Matt and all the guy at Detail Express, I know they were really busy and they got me in when it was convenient for me. They did a great job and I'm gonna be back there soon to get my ugly purplish hatch re-tinted

Sorry for the shitty camera phone pics, Its the best I can do lol

So what do you guys think? Its 15% on the sides and my old 5% on the hatch

Looks awesome man! I think I'll be doing some 35% or so on my sides. Just enough to keep the glare out at night.

HOW TO GET AWAY WITH TINT: Roll down your windows cops get mad lol
It's easier to make a 3rd gen faster than to make a 4th gen look good

i have this tint called silhouette that was put on by notorious tintz.. its 20% but i swear you cant see shit through it unless you are at just the perfect angle.. so its just as bad with the cops as limo would be

i've seen some of notorious tint"z" work, they're alright except they seem to cut out the third brake light all the time, which looks like crap to me. it takes a whole 5-10 minutes to take the back shelf out of any car with a third brake light so you don't have to cut it out and have a nice tinted back window with an ugly light sticking through!

                            Car looks great!

m looking into getting my windows tinted soon, but also not looking to attract cops. Had 35% on my old car, and it wasn't dark enough for me. Just wondering what most people have and get away with, I was thinking 15 but it looks pretty dark.

we used to carry 20% but it looked identical to our 35% so we stopped carrying it

i have 15% all around on my Ram and 35% platinum on the windshield, never been hassled, being that they're larger windows and they're at/above eye level, they appear much lighter.

On my Camaro, i have 5% on the hatch, 15% on the sides and 35% on the windshield (all black tint) it's DARK. can't see in at any angle.

i really don't get hassled, generally the cops around here get more mad about the windshield being tinted then anything, but like i said knock on wood i haven't been pulled over for tint in a few years.

F-Bodies generally appear darker then most because they sit low and you're looking down into the interior. and the windows are smaller. generally the smaller the windows, the darker they appear.

My ex has 15% all around on her focus and it looks 100x darker then my ram because of the windows being so much smaller, and her windshield isn't tinted...
