  • got neons today!

    i bought a neon underbody kit from pep boys today i got blue to match my paint and i got the warranty so if anything happens they replace em for free...btw does anyone have pics of their neons and how hard is it to install em?

    I had them for a while...its hard to install them cause there isnt a good place for them to mount and at the same time show up. Ended up ripping mine out pretty quick.

      hmmm i havent even opened the box yet it says it comes with hardware step by step instructions waterproof i got the pilot brand so hopefully it works out for me

              To install them well you may have to....I ended up using heavy duty zip ties at first to see how i liked them before making them too permenant.

                      I had an LED kit on mine. Only half of it works now after the car accident, haven't worried about fixing it yet. Overall, neon shines more than LED but LED is more indestructible. If the neon tube breaks, bye bye neon. If the tube the LEDs are in breaks, ... well no big deal. I'm 100% positive the only reason why mine don't work right now is a loose cable from the accident.

                      That aside, yeah it's hard to find a good hiding spot for the neons. A bodykit REALLY helps with that.

                        Yup what brian side..body kit helps hide it..

                        I got some street glow white LED's underbodies on mine..it will look nice

                        now get them installed and lets see some pics!

                            meh you can see my passenger side tube ...

                            Kinda sucks buts its ok because that one broke and doesnt work at the moment..

                            Did you make sure they are very durable and wont break easily

                              i got the www.pilotautomotive.com brand and they have a 90 day warranty and pep boys gave me a 1 year warranty for a x tra 20 bucks so i got it
