that needed to be fixed before you tinted it. I have the same problem with my truck. previous owner's dog apparently got loose inside just once and it attacked the windows. both side windows are scratched to hell.

I would like to know the answer too.
I have a back window in the '55,
the same way.Its fairly cheap to change
cause its flat glass..... but if I din't have to ,it
      sure would be nice.

i believe glass can be buffed out just like paint can, but its a very painstaking process bacause if the glass gets to hot for even a split second the entire thing shatters.

it would have to be done with a buffer and no i dont know of anything. Im not gutsy enough to try that because ive broken a few windows in my day. Theres never any warning with tempered glass, they just explode out of nowhere. Really youre probably better off just getting new glass.

I would probably replace the glass if it were me, not sure how bad they really are.... actually now thinking, why not try whatever you can to buff it out, worst that can happen is that it breaks and you have to replace it, or you could get the scratches out and not have to replace it.... Maybe give it a shot

i've had pretty good success with a wheel and cutting compound - however if you don't feel confident in trying this check with your local glasier - most of them offer this service

what todd said, why wouldn't you call up your local glass place and see what they say. I'm sure they know more than anybody here. just a thought

just go at it with a wool pad and some rubbing compound on a wheel, just keep it moving and spray it down to keep it somewhat wet
