how to add blue side mirror tint? do i need new glass?

on my my 98 ta i had blue side glass mirrors, and now i have a 02 Z and wan to to add that on whats the proscess? or can some good old tint do the work??

It's a special anti glare coating in the glass. You'd have to get new glass as I don't think there's a film you can put on a mirror to get the same effect.

It'll be blue but won't have the anti-glare properties the real glass has.

wouldnt the tint reduce glare since it reduced the ammount of light getting to the mirror? Hmm I wonder what some light green or yellow tint would look like on my mirrors.

It'll make it blue. I don't think it will do much to cut glare. Give it a shot if you think it'll work.

It might help, like Josh said, it'll be taking out some of the light which will cut on glare. It won't be as effective as the real stuff, but it might help.

thanks everyone, guess the best way is to find some 98-99 glass and put it on OR tint it for the cheaper way.
