ok um..my rims had like an allergic reaction when i went to clean them..i used black majic rim cleaner...and it like..i only did 2 rims because im worried i ****ed it up or something..anyways..it was leaving streaks and what not..ill have pics up in a few min..anyone know wasup>

You can just polish it off. Thats the nice thing about polished wheels vs. chrome. If they get scuffed or stained you can polish your way through a couple of layers of metal and voila you've got new looking wheels. I learned this from my Metalsmithing class. Chrome is different. If you polish chrome too much you'll go right through the chrome and hit the nickel and other layersof metal that are different colors. But Polished aluminum should allow to buff the crap off. Your going to have to apply some pressure.

Is that cleaner usable on wheels without a clearcoat? I have heard of this same thing happening using wheel cleaners that are supposed to be used on rims only with a clearcoat on them this may be your problem. Don't use that stuff again and go pick up a Mothers powerball it'll be faster to clean and look much better.Doing less with more

Not to hijack the thread, but what do you guys use for polish with your powerball? I got one last year and didn't have much luck with just regular Mother's polish on it.

for chrome rims like yours, use this
its made for the powerball and it is just... da bomb
