  • Color Options?

Well, I've been thinking about my car's upcoming paint job, and I'm getting more and more uneasy with painting it orange. Orange is a cool color and all, but I think I want something a little more contemporary. A color combo I really like is black and silver, and I think it would really set off my chrome rims. What do you guys think? It wouldn't take much to paint the car black anyway, I have to repaint all of the door jambs and cut in the doors, roof, and hatch to make everything look good, so I'm seriously considering changing the color. Does anyone have any input? If I paint it black, odds are it will be painted much sooner than any other color, since I can do the body work and paint individual body panels as they are finished, and not have to worry about blending or anything really. Any suggestions?

If u go with a black car u can use almost any outher colors u would like. I really love my sliver car. Black is going to be hard to really keep clean, Plus if u go with Silver you dont have to worry about cleaning it every day. Now I like, Blue, Sliver, SOM if u want to get some kind of orange. You could go back and paint the car the same color is was when it came out of the factory too.

I have to say I've always loved the Orange you have going on. A nice orange paint job with tons of clear coat would look sexy. Plus, are you talking about your Z28 chromies? I wouldn't base your paint job off of those, because you're planning on getting something other than stock right?

i think black is the best if you know how to detail it and dont mind doing it every other day lol. If that doesnt sound like you, then you dont want black.
