Hey I was thinking about getting those black taillight covers for the camaro...are those legal here in michigan? Ive seen an rs up in mt pleasant that had them on, but i had always thought they were illegal...can anyone straighten this out?

do the niteshade spray instead of covers, headlight covers are illegal at night, taillights I don't believe are. Niteshades works great for tint, and then still lights up at night------------------------------------------

i had them on my 85 iroc and one flew off. Also had them on my s10 extreme. Then on my 00 ws6 and they flew off. I think this time im going for the spray.00 ws6 vert a4 ( mods in garage )

TINT on your TAILLIGHTS is ILLEGAL! just thought i'de clarify, i had nightshades tint on my taillights before and got a defective equipement ticket, your taillights must be reflective, with nightshades, it is not.
and it is NOT permanant, it comes off easily with some lacquer thinner but use it lightly on a towel, it will leave the lenses a bit hazey but just buff it and it will come back.
Yes you can use it on your marker lights, or any other plastic or glass lense for that matter, i have it on my marker lights1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

your the first that I have heard of that got in trouble for niteshades. The lights show up fine yet so I don't see the big deal. Maybe it was just the cop you had. So if you get a fix it ticket, take the stuff off, then just spray them again after you get the fix it ticket signed.
