Here's something that I never heard of before... lock covers. Apparently you stick them over your door and trunk key slots to hide them. Since they came in gloss black, I couldn't resist.

So, as long as the reomote keeps working...

Nothing new, been around for quite a while actually. They're SmoothLocks, and I think they're developed by someone over on CamaroZ28.com I've been meaning to buy them, keep forgetting to. Hope they work good for you! Greg has them on his car, I don't remember who else does though.

What'd they cost and do they cover the WHOLE key hole? Like if I painted them red would I just have a red cover or still have a black ring around the outside showing the base of the key hole?

Unfortunately you'll still see the black ring if you paint them. You'd be better off taking out your locks and painting them if you want to hide them. They work well on a black car but there's better options if you want paint matched locks. I think I paid like $15 for the set when Jason was running a special on them before Christmas. The judges at Autorama liked them and noted them on the judging sheet.

Oh, its not worth it for me then. I really dont mind the look of a keyhole. Would be worth it if it covered the whole thing.

I think even with a red car, the black smoothlocks would look good.
