  • Exhaust Tips

I was just reading through some of the other posts today and they got me thinking about what exhaust I should do on my car. I was considering the Magnaflow catback for like $75-100 more than the flowmaster 40s. Does it sound that much better than a flowmaster 40 system?

Also what do you think of this for the tips on my bird?

Also where can I get a good price on any of these items?

I dunno about those...what size are they? Might like 'em on a car-by-car basis, but just can't see where they'd tie into a F-body.

Kinda looks like a mini model of the Gallardo exhaust.

P.S. Where's the pics of the sinkhole?

P.S.S. Did you get my PM yesterday?

Check this link out: http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=59728 I personally like how the magnaflow sounds, although the flowmaster doesnt sound bad. If you just want to improve your sound a little then go with the flow. Or if you want the best sound go with a borla. Its all about what you want and what u are willing to spend.

Oh yeah. I checked for the pics and I guess I did not get any the one day. I was out there like 3 times trying to get my car out.

I did get your PM. I want to put together our next meeting. We will then map out the rest of the season and our goals.

I would like for the Spring Dust Off to be a good social event. Get the club members together, maybe do a little cruise, things like that.

I understand that the Dust off is in May. I had thought it was sooner than that. I think we should have another meeting before then as well.

I understand that you will be out of town on business on the 20th.
How soon should we aim for and where? It seemed like the Old Chicago worked well. I will look in to other options as well.

        Suggestions Anybody?

I don't know about the tips, I would have to see them on an F-Body to make a judgemant call.

Those tips are for the C5 vetts. I think you should stick with something round.

yeah, i think with your car it would look best with something less than a 45 degree slant cut, non rolled, stainless steel tips. Have them stick out a little too that looked really good on the ls1 formula I saw in chicago today.

i don't like the short tips, on my truck mine are 18". When they're short you can see the not fancy pipe from the side of the car and i don't think that looks very good. I'd like to get the longest tips i can for my car.
