  • New Rims PICS ( finally ) & I am such a F*cking Idiot

Well this is about as clean as the car is gonna get in this weather without garage access.

17" in the front with Kumho ecsta's and 18" in the rear with Dunlop Direza's the staggered fitment looks better then I thought it would but I think when the fronts need replacement I'll drop from a 45 down to a 40 to make the tires look more even, PLUS NO MORE SCRAPING!

I love they way these look and it been so long since Ive had tires that actually grip. Iv'e been telling everyone I love these things like a second set of testicles I didnt know I had til' last week. And no I dont mean I got my balls back....I just think it sounds funny.

For $350 I dont think I could have found a better deal! Thanks again Bill!

Now on to the bad news.....

So all happy and such I loaded the old rims into the car ( I intended to pawn em' just to get them outta my face )

I backed out of the car port, I dont know if I was just in a hurry or what but I cut the wheel to soon, I saw it coming but just couldnt stop fast enough.... stupid car port pole.

    I am such a moron...
and what pisses me off is that in anyother weather the plastic would have flexed and I might have come out with the car unscathed but with this stupid cold it had no give and...POP!

I think my neighbors think IM insane now cause I was swearing at nothing for about five minutes.

No, I didnt thankfully. I dont plan on putting that on until spring. My friend and I plan on making a ram air setup that uses the foglight holes as a intake which is a weekend project that needs warm weather. The only thing we are trying to still figure out is how to do filtration. Right now we are thinking about a plexiglass box around the current SLP cold air intake, but making it airtight and easy access for filter changes could be a problem...

The rims look awsome on there. Sorry to see your luck with the pole. My Fbody was cursed this year too. Got plowed in the ass by some 17yr old girl playing with her stereo

Lol, thanks for the support guys, your honestly making me crack up about the whole thing. "Sorry for/about the pole" kinda has a certain ring to it, like it should be a hallmark card or something.
