  • Rear deck valance removal

Anyone have an idea about how hard it is to take the embossed CAMARO deck valance off? I was thinking of painting it mat black like the GMMG cars. Ive got my service manuals, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

NM.. I looked it up.. looks like there are four retainer bolts behind the carpet that hold it on there.

I'm buying a second rear tail panel off of ebay so I can mess with it all I want and not totally destroy my car. It also will help if I dont like it, I can swap the stock red pannel back on there. I also want to preserve the original piece with the stock paint. Sooooooooooo.. Once I get my piece in the mail, I'll get it painted up and on the car.
