  • DGM or WW?

Well, since it looks like I'll have some extra cash now, I'm gonna get GFX for Mayhem now to get painted. The 2 main choices are Wings West - $589.99(total cost) but I've heard that they still aren't opn yet from their restucturing so there's no way it'd get here in any way close to when I need it painted. And I can't find a used one anywhere. Second choice is the DGM kit, total cost of around $475, which I can get now.

I think that the WW might look better, but that either one would look good. I hate the rear pice on the WW, so if I bought I would have to modify it, and I wouldn't have to modify the DGM at all. The WW is lower, and I do have some bumpy areas to drive, so the DGM would help on that. So here's a pic of my car with the DGM, and one of my car with the WW. Anyways, here's the pics:

    DGM

    WW

I don't know, the more I look at the DGM, the more I like it.

dgm I think looks better on mayhem, the wings west is too common, and the grooves don't look right with the retro theme from those pics

I honestly like the WW ones better, but the DGM aren't bad. I think you've already made up your mind after reading your post.

The DGM kit is cheaper, more available, and looks almost as good as the WW one. And you don't like the rear WW piece. It seems like DGM is the way to go.

If your car turns out anywhere near as good as the concept it will look VERY nice. 8)

yep, i think DGM is what I'm gonna do. The more I look at it, the more i think it just looks right. And it is less common, which is what my car is all about. The DGM reminds me more of how the 79 T/A's flared at the side and was skinnier underneath the car. Think I'm gonna order it tomorrow after I drop the car off for the beginning of its work. I emailed the guy with a few questions and his answers will make or break whether I get it right now.

thanks for the compliments on the concept. Those aren't that actual wheels, but they are close. I have charcoal Cragar's, not TTIIs, and a billet grille in replacement of the mesh but it gets the point across.

I like WW, but you see them on a lot of camaros...its common, but every camaro I see with it just looks good so

            DMG is also nice looking

But in the end, you will be driving the car not us, so what ever you think and feel good with go with it

            but DMG is nice 8)

DGM. WW is like.. no where to be found anymore. DGM looks pretty cool, and it's not as commonly used so you'll still have some uniqueness. (By the way, I love the yenko-like black side stripe)

It seems the topic has already been settled, but I thought I'd throw my input in anyway. DGM kit actually looks really good. On a lot of cars it just looks bland, or like it doesn't fit, but I think for yours it will look really nice. Can't wait to see the finished product!
