  • Ground effects on 93-97 T/A

I was looking around on ebay for random parts and it wasn't long before I ran into pics of this guys car. It look's like the wings west kit that fits 98-02 T/A's? Am I wrong? Or is there a company out there that makes this for my car? I want it.

Look's cool, I like how he molded in the 70's style side vents and it look's like an SLP spoiler? I'm more interested in the ground effects if anyone knows

those ground affects definatly look identical to my 98+ w68 bird ones, the front and sides that is, the back is just a TA rear it looks like to me, he must have custom fabbed the 98+ front to go on because those dont look like the 93-97 w68 package.

btw last i heard from a guy lookin into it is that the w68 package like my car has new from GM is 1800

I've always liked the appeal of lambo doors, but it's just to much money, some kits still go for around 500, unless you have a civic then lambo doors are buy one get one free. That is a good looking kit for the Trans am, i always thought it looked like something was missing up front. I kinda want to get the z28 ground effects for mine, gonna start some junkyard shopping soon. Well good luck man

nice looking kit, i think the front wings are just a hair too radical though, jmo. Negative on the lambo doors.

Yep thats a W68 Kit. Looks like he took the stock T/A front and rear Bumper covers, W68 side skirts and front fascias off a 98-02 and grafted them onto a 93-97 T/A. that may be a Mecham spoiler. He also has the 98+ tailights. He even has the WS6 Hood I want.

Good luck finding that kit though. OEM Parts. They are few and far between. When you find em expect to spend about $3000 for the kit used. Trust me I have looked into these. Ask anyone, I was the w68 cheerleader around here.

I had found a place where they sold them for like $1500, but I don't know if they are still in business.

You could ask those guys where to find them.

A lot like what I wanted for my car. I like Lambo kits on birds. I think if any car should look like it has wings it should be a bird.

Sounds like to much work and money to find those parts. I thought about the doors to be honest. Its alot of work. My buddy had them professionally installed on his Eclipse. It looks cool but you have to be real carefull when you open and close them. I've seen them on a Ligenfelter vette that is at just about every car show in Michigan. They look really cool on his car.

Normally I'm not a fan of lambo doors, but those, with that car, look nice.

                        Nice car overall.

Needs to get rid of the firechicken on the nose though.

Yes, I realize that's the pot calling the kettle black there...
