  • What do you think of my FRC idea?

Well I got corvette fuel rail covers end of last season. I was planning on painting them and then putting Trans Am letters on. I had them on the stock way for a while and I do like how they look because they hide a lot of wiring. Well, I was thinking, I am going to fill in the corvette letters, paint them orange, Put side moulding letters in black, and paint the raised parts black.

So, what do you think, probably gonna be a summer or spring project but should be very simple to do.

This is just a quick photochop, it is a little messy but gives you the idea.

If anyone knows where i can get paint of that luster in a bottle, lemme know. Also if anyone knows soemone selling their Trans Am letters, lemme know.

    Check out my FQuick!

i think that would look better then the "CORVETTE" however i'm not a fan of those at all, so i would say just take 'em off....but i would have to say your idea is better then the way it is stock!

Lets face it, the stock LS1 is an UGLY motor. You really only have 2 options. Relocate the coil pacs and do something with the valve covers or do FRC's.

We did the FRC's. Filling in the CORVETTE sucked! I was never happy with it and would never do it again. A MUCH easier idea was to cover up the corvette. I designed the graphic I wanted and sent it off to Terri Lane in Texas. She printed it up on 10mil lexan with the print UNDER the lexan so it couldn't scratch or wear off. Then put adhesive backing on it. I got 2 sets for I think $35. She also did an AC condenser decal I designed for like $12.

I do not think she is doing this any longer as she changed jobs. But there a severl other guys doing it on the net.

I think it is a great idea. I did mine a couple of years ago, and they turned out great.
