Hard to believe I can't find a good answer on any forums, but Im wondering if anyone knows who makes paint to match the dark grey/graphite (or whatever it is) color on the plastic part of the door panels. I bought the closest thing I could find at autozone which was charcoal grey, but it is not dark enough. I only need practically one pass of paint, but I really want it to match.

Go to an automotive paint store like Painters Supply and get SEM color coat. Having the color code from your options sticker is best but they should have a book that will get you the right color. I've had much better luck spraying with a gun vs the rattle cans for what it's worth.

Sem makes some good stuff . I've custom mixed many interior colors. Try finding a paint shop with a real painter that knows how to tint paint and he should be able to get it to match .

I got some grey vinyl dye on EBay a few years ago that matches pretty well. Only problem is it will scratch pretty easily. Since I have a very I had parts that were sun bleached. They all covered pretty good. The stuff I bought isn't being sold anymore though. When in doubt, Whip it out !

Thats something to look into though thanks. Yeah, I don't know what happened to the tops of mine. They are white like they had something on them, got dried out, and them someone tried to like sand it off. I used a heat gun which helped bring a little life back into it, but really needs a shot of paint. Might just have to take it someone and have it done. But by the time I pay for that, I could probably just buy some $300 practically new panels on ebay. I swear though I can't believe nobody has made a replacement panel for these cars since ever single one cracks.sigpic

You need a color chip book for your year make and model. This will tell you the correct WA paint code. I have painted many many interiors, you will never get a perfect match. If your interior is not faded, you will get a close color, never perfect. If you want a match, you need to paint the adjoining panels. You cannot just paint plastic, you need to prep it, adhesion promoters etc.
