I recently scored a new Harwood hood from a guy a Craigs list
I dropped the car off for paint yesterday! I cant wait to get it back.
I had to extend the front 3/8ths of an inch, it just didnt look right with a big 1/2 inch gap in front. I slid it down as far as it would go but still looked like poo. I even opened up the holes in the hinges so it could come down further. No go.
Here it is after modifications, before paint.

Its like Christmas!
It was modded using fiberglass and epoxy, West systems epoxy. with a bit of baby powder to thicken it up and keep it from running. I chopped up a bunch of cloth fibers and mixed it with epoxy to use as a filler worked great put a bunch of cloth on top and bottom to reinforce everything. My painter is going to fix the scuff on the drivers wheel well too, as well as both sides of the hood and blend everything.
