  • c6 rear bumper valance onto formula bumper ideas

got this from a friend for free, had some little scuffs but it's in decent shape. thinking about trying to put it onto my firebird bumper. i have the reverse lights for it too and id imagine it'd be easy to wire them up to work as well as the stock ones. any thoughts or ideas? maybe it's been done? but i highly doubt it. i've scared to start hacking my bumper, but my cars pretty rough looking anyway lol.

i'm thinking if i did it i'd need to move the plate up (looks like there's about 3/4" i could move it up) and cut the bottom of the license plate hump off. the valance would have to be trimmed to fit around the hump as it sticks out backwards.

Done right, I think it's doable and would be different.

I think the license plate area may prove to be an issue since the vette has it mounted above this piece and the bird bumper is so damn short. I think it would have to be cut across the center, i dont know if it'll work. I want it to because in my mind it'll look sick.

Just cut out the center section. Don't use it.

That's what I'm leaning towards, having the lip stop at the line around the plate area.
