Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
What are some of the best appearance enhancements you have done to your car?
What are some of the worse?
Doesn't have to be this year.
I guess it doesn't have to be your car either.
But if you have an enhancement you regret or love, lets hear about it.
Can you tell I love a good story..

exhaust tips can really make a car look a lot more aggressive. my camaro just had the single exhaust but i put on a new muffler and got the dual with some 2.5" angled tips that made it look a lot better. on my t/a i have a set dual 3" outlet tips that look 100% better than the stockers, i never realized how small and wimpy they are til i got used to my new ones.
For me, the best I can think of is the rims and tires on my TA. They really completed the package. These are different from the ones I talk about below.
The hood scoop is nice, but it was more of a necessity, damn air gap manifold.
I would have to say my worse enhancement was a set of Centerline rims I bought in the past that were actually too wide in the rear of the car.
I was told by "Bruce" from Belle Tire in Dearborn that they would fit under the car for sure.
They didn't and that was not the look I was going for.

Wheels and tires, no question, are hugely important.
But "stance" is even more important.
The right rake, with the right wheels, with the right size tires, now you have the whole package.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.

I agree

I do like the paint scheme on your car.
Its unique and looks good.
How did you come up with the idea of the, jagged lines , I guess that is what you would call it. Not really flames or lightning.

Best mod on my car: the stripes. Totally changed the look of it and it attracts way more attention now than it ever did as just a black SS.
Worst mod: the semi decent looking carbon fiber look projector style headlight covers. They looked OK and gave it a little different look but after the 3rd time of taking them off and seeing some light scratches on the headlights and where the paint on the hood had rubbed off some I yanked them and wound up selling them for 3 times what I paid for them new!

Its more a more modern rendition of a old school scallop paint job that I had on my 91 RS.
