  • fabbing up a 96/97 ss spoiler

    So I'm going to try my hand at making myself an ss spoiler.
    So I'm going to buy a spare spoiler and get to work.will post
    A ton of pics.

        Hopefully it turns out well, still trying to figure out how I'm going to
        Get the curve. Thinking about using "great stuff" foam and shaping it
        Then sand and figure it out from there.

        My next issue is getting the curve to staybon the spoiler at 100mph+

          Do not like that idea! It's not going to turn out well.

          I'd grab a cheap ebay SS spolier and spend my time trying to make that fit better than they do if it's a low budget endevour. I believe there is a seller called thespoilercompany or something like that... worth the money if you ask me

            Tried to find them on ebay myself. I bought a 98-02 ss spoiler off them a few years back
            Paid 125 for it. But can't find them now.

              Ok so I know I haven't updated this thread in awhile.... but I was hunting
              For a spoiler to cut up and mangle for this to work.


              Well I founf one. And some of you might get mad. Some might not.


              But here's some pics from when I got it to what it is now. This
              Still isn't finished but its on its way.

                          Wow - I'll say that I'm really happy you destroyed the spoiler from how it originally was Will be interesting to see how you finish this one out.
