Ok, I plan to start stockpiling parts for my interior swap, figure it should be ready for install next spring. When I pull the old interior out, I'm going to take the car in and get it painted since the old paint is flaking off on the bottom due to long storage and improper prep. The red interior is hit, and I just DON'T like red. I will be saving all of the salvageable parts on the offhand chance I ever sell the car, I can send them along with it. Or sell them, of course.
It is NOT the original paint, though it IS the original color. The only problem is, Black has been done to death. I want my car to stand out, though of course ANY 2nd gen tends to stand out already.
So here are the options I am seriously considering.
Sunset Orange Metallic W/ Camel Tan interior
Deep Emerald Green W/ Black interior
Midnight Blue W/ Black Interior
Any of the above W/ Black/ Tan two-tone interior (Basically like my 4th Gen.)
Some pics of the color ideas:

And of course, a pic of the car in question, my 1979 Trans Am
