Anybody got the hookup on a method for painting my CETA Panel for the best looking results? I know a few guys on here have done this. Help me out! Please!

Vince has it done but he had a shop do it. I plan on doing in sometime in the future but I'm having a painter do it as well, check on LS1tech they have plenty of writeups.Doing less with more

from all the lurking and reading i've done on it on LS1tech, most guys just tape it off nice and neatly, wax 'n' grease remover it all to get any solvent off of it. scuff it with a grey 3M scotchbrite pad and then most guys just use some semi-gloss black and do it up!

The black panel looks awesome on a light colored car. IMO It's pointless to put it on a black, blue, or sometimes red car. However on a Pewter, Silver, Yellow, and maybe Orange it looks sweet.Originally posted by SS4Matt

yeah i think it looks better on light colored cars, and if the panel is done in flat or semi-gloss black...when it's shiney black...looks like poop to me....Originally posted by 2slow4you
