    oil based paint

    can i shoot some rustoleum oil based paint from a can out of a cheapo harbor frieght quality spray gun? can i somehow thin out out and if so whats the most cost effective product to do so?

      can i spray it from a cheepo haror frieght gun with it thinned down you think?

        Yes don't thin it to much we used a harbor freight gun just make sure u get the air pressure right what u painting?

          well i split the trucks frame in half so im gonna do some restructuring there with the help of my neighbor and then i figured why not protect it somewhat so some cheap oil based paint should work on the frame

              is there a specific one i should get high/low pressure/volume? all im gonna do is tape off the trans engine driveshaft and few other things and slop it on

                They have one on sell this week for 12$ same one I used on Darren wheels worked great

                    Yup cheapo harbor freight gun FTW! It's on sale this week just like Jon said for $12. Get it and have fun! Paint some card board or something first to get used to it and to get the fan right.
