Carpet dye progress

Well I started the carpet dying today, so far Im fairly happy, we'll see what I get as it stews.

new carpet is expensive and finding a car being parted out with decent carpet is hard thing todo. i had to drive to indiana to get mine.

As long as he rinses it thoroughly after dying it, it shouldn't do anything like that.

Right but dying the carpet costs less than $10.00.

Plus alot of the aftermarket carpets cut off sooner then the OEM pieces, leaving you this weird uncarpeted section in the rear

Its a good quality OEM carpet and I wanted to see if I can do it

For $10 it's worth a shot, if it doesn't work you're not out a lot of money and then you can just go to stockinteriors.com and be done with it.

(BTW, stockinteriors.com give you way more carpet than you need)

So far its looking good, I checked earlier today. It might be black already or maybe a really really dark blue. I have a pretty good eye for color but I dont trust the florescent light in the basement so it stays soaking for now.
