Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I have a convertable with a glass back window, the seal that hold the canvas to the glass has been going for awhile now. I would like to have it either repaired or what I would like is to have the window removed and the same canvas put in place of the window. I am going to be putting in a rear view cam system, that is on all the time, thinking of getting a rearview mirror with the LCD in that. But for now I would like to be able to wash the car without water coming in the window...
Okay I am leaning now more towards removing the window, and replacing it with the same canvass the top is made from anyone have an idea where I could get this canvass... Top is black so I need black...
Thank you Larry, you would not happen to know the name of the place? If not I will just cruise by and get it myself. I am set on 86ing the rear window, hope they can help with that.
I dont recommend doing that but you should fix yours the place on mound is shelby trim my rs convert did the same thing i took it there they did GREAT work and price was reasonable.

Not 100% on this, but im pretty sure you cant legally do that. Odds of getting ticked for it are probably slim, but still.
I believe as long as you have 2 "working" mirrors that allow you to see behind you in some way you can make it all black. But I also am not 100%

Really because I can take black spray paint it all the way out... Why can't I remove it... besides I will have a cam on the back that will be on all the time in the place of my reverse mirror, well it is a mirror with inputs for video... Also have two working side mirrors its a sports car, who would have a sports car without two side mirrors? Lol well what I will do is check it out with a few friends that are judges and see if it is legal...
I love that idea. I'm with everyone else though - not sure of the legality but awsome thought nonetheless. When my back window gave up I pulled it out and sewed in a sheet of clear RV grade window vinyl. Looks way crapier than the glass rear window but I know the cops won't botter me over it. Plus - I rarly have the top up anyway. I love the rear view camara idea...
