Eurolamps/HID Easy Lighting Question

Okay few easy questions regarding an HID kit from DDM tuning and non-sealed beams from eurolamps.com I wanted to double check before breaking anything

First is there any purpose for the rubber piece that holds the four wires from ddm tunning together. It's half way down/up the wires in this video the guy just ignores it.

I assume it can be removed, it's just to hold them together right?

Second question is so I got an H7 HID kit and the eurolamps. Eurolamps hold the bulbs in by the two metal wires and don't twist in or anything correct? So since the wires are covered when you install the lamps in the car I actually have to put the bulb in the lamp, and then feed the wires through and then proceed to mount it?

Third question, the wires they sent me are to wide (like those shown in the video) I can just shave them down so they fit in the OEM plug correct?

Its been awhile since I put my lights in. What metal wires are you talking about from eurolamps

Those wires across the back are the only thing that hold it in right? no screwing in or anything

Correct, thats how mine are held in place from wobbling in/out.

When I installed mine I almost threw them away. Didnt know wtf they were for
