Personally? I would do a very dark metallic gunmetal. Metallic being the keyword, put some flake in it!!

That's not bad either. Really anything except all black. All black just makes the rims and tires look dirty.

Kinda skipped around, but if you dont have a powdercoater, H&H did mine, blasted and pc'ed for less than $300.

BAHAHAHA i have actually painted a fender back in the first or second semster of my auto body school. you need such a huge tip to paint that shit! You can see each individual bugger coming out lmfao.
I'll see if someone can photoshop that pic in the OP to a charcoal. I would be curious to see what it looks like. As for keeping a lip I would have to coat that since the clear is junk on the rims. Which would be a PITA...

I actually got a quote from a place in Fenton but it wasn't them. 100 bucks to coat them if I blast them (which is what I had planned)

I do have one and its GREAT for small stuff. Bolts, brackets, clamps, etc. Biggest issue I have is getting the stuff to fit in the oven. I use a regular house oven. Which works great but I can only fit up to a 16" rim max. Check out my project thread. I have coated a ton of stuff for it.

I got the powdercoater off of eastwood.com.

Oven off of craigslist. Its a great investment.
Lol, I meant professionally. Wouldn't do it myself....hell, I don't even cook food let alone brackets
