Toying with A Project

Well I was bored and found my old module that I got for christmas. Found the instructions, hooked it up to my jerry-rigged power 12v power supply that was still on the work bench from the carPC testing stuff.

Mind you, it needs to be hooked up to plenty more LEDs than that, I'll probably do 10 per light, 2 lights up front (highbeams that are never used), and 2 lights in back (reverse lights that are rarely used) and then I'd have some tight strobes.

PS - Did I mention the strobe module supposedly handles some 150 LEDs?

I want one. . . lol I'm planning on doing something like that, but I think I might just get an in-dash DVD player. . . Found one pretty cheap, I can buy it with what I make off of my 'vette wheels.

I couldn't watch the vid here at work (little brother prevents that) so I don't know what types you were working with.

Did the kit come with the LEDs or do you have to go get your own? I work for an LED company, and can get you some good samples if you'd like. That crap at Radio Shack is way limited.

I was using LEDs from an LED place that I can't think of the name of right now, but it's a really popular LED website that a bunch of guys from LS1Tech.com got me onto. The flasher module is a Sho-Me flasher module, according to some writeups it can handle some 140 LEDs or something like that. I only want to use 40, 10 per light (two in the front, two in the taillights)

My slow computer won't play that video I want a few LED lights that just blink on the dash every couple of seconds. I have one as it is for the car alarm I just want a few more red ones scattered around the interior that will blink on and off when I walk away from my car. Hopefully that will keep people away from it when I'm parking in dark scary places. Anyone got some links to some LED products?
