  • What do you think? Pics out?

Well I guess I'll put it out there but please be kind just need input(no hard felings).I love a pure stock car and a cleaner the better!Well at show we was talking about the work I've done and how some people don't like taking away from stock. So part way in the show I put out pics from accident repair and started discussion about fixing up a wreck?I seen car could be saved and would give me the ok to do whatever I wanted now.So here is the question should accident pics be put out? Also while I'm at it what did you think of car?Having WS6 Badge made w/BADBIRD EDITION (where performance package would be) for other side of fenderwell (opposite side of the custom emmison labels) and then starting to get parts for interior for next year. What would you like to see or not to see?Wanna hear more? Thanks Rick

I think the pics should be out, it shows the life and history of the car also is a great conversational piece. If you never tell people your car was "saved" or in wreck no one would ever know!

I love your trans am. I think it would be best to keep the pics out. I like flipping through them and seeing how the car started and the progress made to where its at today.

I have been thinking about making a picture book of my car showing it's progression. I have a few pics of its accident, and I wish I would have taken a little more. An accident will always be a part of the car's life, and it's not like you can get around it if you ever try and sell it. When I make my book, I'm throwing in the few accident pics I have just because it made my car look different afterwards.

Thanks guys will keep out! Well since car won't ever be original I decided I could do what I wanted to her (like smoothing out inner fenderwells).what was interesting is they used a front 1/2 of car for parts that was a campaign car from GM proving grounds.(have vin tag and campaign sticker)was told after GM testing car goes to be scraped out.you can see front radiator support and driver fenderwell was scabbed in and used front end from parts car.So now that I'm building BADBIRD I call it a 2 of 1 build. Thanks again for the input!!!

We bought car with just 4,000 miles and didn't plan on doing whole lot to car until accident.Lot of people suggested letting them total it and was very close but wanted to save it and insurance worked with me.(they also paid for trans rebuild month after getting car back)heres couple more pics before paint and invoice (not including trans).feel like we gave life to 2 birds, also have binder with FIREBIRD/TA info, invoices and receipts if you ever want to look at just don't like leaving that one laying around.

                          That's awesome!

My car was totalled out but I actually "made" $500 off of it - they valued the car enough that after buying it back and paying for damages I still had $500 left over.
