My custom center panel
1993 Firebird Formula -- Magnaflow cat-back, Hurst b/p STS (Lou's SS), Coolant bypass, 160° T-stat, Moroso CAI, Jet fan switch, Tinted SML/Turn signals, Custom center panel (shaved and painted body color) and ls1 chrome wheels -
I think it looks very good. i wonder how it would look on a white car?
And what did you do for your key whole? did you just delete it?Last edited by jetice; May 21st, 2010, 11:49 AM.

I don't know, I think it stands out more without the bird. Also Formulas aren't supposed to have them.Originally posted by 92conv View PostLooks great!! It's amazing what you can do with a little skill, patience and the right tools (vinyl cutter and corel draw), so far I've recreated the bird, formula script, Pontiac logo, the Shelby cobra logo, and some other custom stuff. I should do that for a living

I think it would look sick on a white car, I actually got the idea from the 2003 heritage edition Trans Am. I just went a step further and shaved the lock hole.Originally posted by nstg8r View PostI know some of you have probably already seen the pic of my custom center panel but I thought I would share and see if anyone else on here has done this and what you guys think.
The cylinder is actually still behind there but I'm thinking about grinding off the rivets and removing it. I'm just afraid that it's putting stress on the filler and could pop it out eventually.
If you want to send me a pic of the back of your car I could do some photoshop work for ya to see what it would look like.1993 Firebird Formula -- Magnaflow cat-back, Hurst b/p STS (Lou's SS), Coolant bypass, 160° T-stat, Moroso CAI, Jet fan switch, Tinted SML/Turn signals, Custom center panel (shaved and painted body color) and ls1 chrome wheels

I'm pretty sure they meant it would look cool on a white car if the center panel were painted white to match the car. . . TONS of people have removed the decal from the center panel on their cars and polished them, I have, a couple of friends of mine have, and just about everyone whose bird logo started fading has. . . lol You should paint yours white, be the test dummy for us. . . It might look good! lolOriginally posted by jetice91 View PostThank for the info! And here you go.
