  • Window Tinting

I need my windows tinted! Okay, first off, I need a good tint shop in the Muskegon/G.R. area. Second off, I need suggestions on how dark to go. I have a black car, but I like it looking pretty stock. I don't want to go too dark. Suggestions?

I have 35% up front and limo in the back, its a good mix because its not too dark. With your car being black it will already look darker then it really is. Plus if you go too dark then you have to worry about the cops... Personally when I do mine again I am going more of a 20% route...

If you don't want to be bothered by the law, I would just throw some 35% on your side windows. For the hatch I would def. go a little darker since it's just a huge piece of glass. 35% wouldn't look dark at all without the windshield being tinted and if you have T-tops that lets in a little more light to make the tint look lighter itself. as for shops on the west side, I have no idea.

As for my own cars tinted. I've always done 15% all around and 35% on the windshields. Although my camaro is all limo and 35% on the windshield...

I've had various tint combo's, and I would recommend either 35% or 20% on the sides and 20% on the back. I find that 35% on the sides looks good and pretty much guarantees the cops won't harass you. It is all about personal preference though so take a look at other people's cars and see what you like. My current set-up is 35% sides, 20% rear.

The tint factory at 36th and buchanon in GR is by far the best around. Allot of the local car audio places bring their cars to them. Its a tiny little shop. 2 guys been doing it for a very long time.

Well I don't know if you read my recent ordeal with the cops. I got pulled over on my way home from the meet and greet. I had 35% on the sides and limo on the back. He wrote a ticket for both. I knew my back was legal so i went to a local police station and after i got the sides removed he signed off on my ticket. Although I had a tinted license plate cover and even though I removed it i still had to pay 85 bucks.

at least it brought me business jkjk

but to the OP, I'm usually in GR visiting my G/F every other weekend or so. I advertise over there and do jobs every now and then. If you have at least a 2 car garage thats empty(big ass camaro doors) then we could set something up for the next time I'm out there. Possibly next weekend, or the weekend after that.
