I never had problems with bras on any of my other cars, but then again I took it off once or twice a week to wash under.

I'm with Brian...never cared for them, but it did provide some protection on highway trips.
Just so happens I've got one that I had for my 'old' 96 SS sitting in the basement...used it twice, so its like new. Make me an offer and its yours.Comment

The top attaches by sliding over he front of the hood, and it has two long straps with hooks on the ends that hook into a couple of holes in the bottom of the hood. The bottom has little plastic hooks and doo-dads that attach all around the nose of the car. Quite simple, really.Nick H.

No drilling. The bottom uses plastic hooks to hook it to the inside edge of the bumper, and the same on the bottom. I'll take pics tomorrow if you want.Nick H.

I know it does. . . I have two different model bras for my car, one is a skimpier, thinner one that my 'maro wears in the garage when it's just me and her. . . . The other one is the one that's on her any other time of the day, when we're in public. . . I don't want anyone getting any ideas. . . lmao DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough! You will regret it if you get into the habit of just leaving it on all the time, you don't want your car to look like sh** like mine, do you? The idiot prev. owner turned my car into a POS, and I'm having a heluva time trying to resurrect her. You know how heartbreaking it is to know that I pour my heart and soul into my car, and I still get people telling me everyday what kind of peice of s*** it is? I know, its an old thread, but better than starting a new one.
Can't stand bras on nice cars.
Besides the paint fade and the possible rust, it just looks like.
I might be able to see its usage for transportation purposes, but then there are car covers for that.
The purpose is to protect your car, yet you don't see that part of the car now, so what the heck are you protecting.
Might as well just put a bag over your head so you don't see the paint chips.
Or better yet, get a whole lot of that bra material and cover the entire car in it. That would protect it.
Or just make the car a trailer queen and the issue is solved.
Sorry all, I just can't see the point of making a nice looking car look like
by putting one of those on.

I agree. Although I have considered buying a bra just for driving long distances. I would put it on when I leave for a show and take it off when I get there. I am going to be dropping upwards $2000 for a new paint job this spring, I don't want some stupid semi or truck shooting rocks at my car.Comment
