  • Valve covers change 2 pics

Well I wasn't happy with the flat black and didn't like the grooves down the middle.. So here are some pics from beginning to now(for those who missed the progression). This is primer only right now. When done they will be a 2 tone.. How I plan on doing that shall remain in my brain until I have tried it and see if I like it.. Mods, you can delete my other valve cover threads if you like.

    Beginning

    First finish look

And NOW(again primer only) and sorta harder to see the change because of the grey primer

Well I will say I am going to try white and blue to maintain the red/white/blue theme.. Will it work? I honestly don't know, but I am going to give it a shot..

You should have your intake airbrushed blue with white stars like the flag and then have your covers stripes just an idea lol

HEy Larry, nice work on the covers. You'd hardly recognize them as LS1 covers.
What did you fill the grooves with? Allmetal or something similar?

I hope you sand blasted the grooves or at least roughed them up good with some 36G sand paper...
