  • Water "suck-up" bags for storage.

Not sure if this is the right place but does anyone know where I can get large bags (5"x7" or so) of that moisture absorb stuff? My garage is wet and cold and I would like to drop a few bags inside my car during the winter storage.

Home Depot or Lowes sells "DampRid". You just put it in your car and open the lid and it will Absorb moisture. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...atalogId=10053 Its about $10 a container.

I spent 25 bucks on this last winter it works great. Place it in the car and every week or so i bring it in the house and plug it in for 3 hours and it recharges. Then when winter was over my dad just throws in in the guncase so it gets year round use.

wont those things suck the moisture out of the leather (if you have leather seats)? My parents have a dehumidifier in their basement and it has warnings saying not to place in the same room as any plants or animals because it will kill them!

I know that damprid works great. We have one on each side of our basement and it sucks up a TON of water.
