got around to cleaning the bay today.

    I used Black magic 2 in 1 cleaner/detailer.
    NXT rubber/vinyl protectant(hoses and whatnot)

The stuff works pretty dang good,BUT I'll prolly still use Gunk over this stuff, just cause gunk is like 2 bux cheaper, and doesnt stink ass bad,the stink only lasts a minute, but still stinks.

I covered the MAF,computer and thats it....sprayed the hell outta the whole bay,let it sit 10 minutes and lightly sprayed off, compressed air dries and wiped it down, used the NXT on the hoses and thats it.

A couple things....In one pic it looks like I missed under the radiator cap
The bumper cover support thingy is all spotted and cloudy(wont come off, always been that way)....and the top of the rear main wont come clean(looks brownish)

    Other than that,fast easy cleaning.

Very nice work on that engine bay Shaun! Is that an SLP CAI? Optima Battery too? I'm liking it!

Also, just for reference, that's a Duralast battery. The one you saw in my 64 F250 is a Optima Yellow Top dry cell. . . Gotta have extra juice to start a big block, you know. . .

I'm actually going to do this today I think after work. Haven't been able to wash the car all week because the window on the driver side wouldn't go up. So I'm gonna wash the whole car tonight and gunk the engine bay. I didn't lift the hood at the M&G cause the bay was dirty and I never had time to clean it.

                          Ya,thats the FIPKII

and also, its a duralast battery,I needed one and that was the best autozone or murrays had so.
