Thanks Joel! I kept them to cover the holes in the carpet for the different mounts and brackets. Someday I will have the floorpans smoothed and new carpet, no seat bottoms..

Just a tip - I found it's cheaper to buy the panels individually than as a pair. Also since you're recovering them you can get cloth ones.

Thanks - I really need to get a finished pic. Looks a lot better with the bezel in place. I absolutely love it - and it allows you to use any color LED behind the gauge cluster to light up at night.

what are the refined ones? did you make one side flat now? get rid of that line where the ring connects? I'm curious, I'm assuming I have the non-refined ones because ive had them a while lol

Derek; the older ones are 3/16" ,the new refined ones are 1/16",if I could speak of new and old
now the 3 center ones are a direct glue on,just a little easier to install,I figured.
It is still a hobby of mine making these rings,which I enjoy very much.Every time I see them installed in a bird, I get a kick out of it ,as I was the first who ever made them...(and that being a dutchboy living in Barcelona) .The thing aswell was that the older ones only costed me money...as they are so heavy ,& the shipping to the States is awfully expensive...euro against the dollar values etc.So loosing was not fun anymore.Now, at least I play more or less even..I some times even make a buck!!

Oh I bet 1/16 is much better. I cracked a few of my vents trying to remove them, had to buy new vents to install the rings

its a simple trick removing the vents from the dash by putting a knife in between plastic ring and vent housing, lifting up the lip...there is a video on youtube.But I guess you find out by now

I did that, my plastic housing is what cracked. I was doing this in the middle of winter when my car was frozen. (guess I should have waited until spring lol)
