So What are you saying here? The only 1957 Ford truck (if you what to call it that) that used that dash was the Ranchero. And if you do some research you will find that it was the same dash as in the Fairlane. So technically speaking I was right. SO what did I win.Originally posted by Fuego396Back in the 70s I had a science teacher who said, "you know what happens when you assume?"...well he obviously didn't know what he was talking about 'cause you (finally) are right. See me Sat or Sun and collect!...you gotta admit...this some crazy shit...

Well, I'll tell you what you won! You win a 12-peice Luggage set by Samsonite, valued at over $2500, a microwave Oven by Samsung with great features such as preset food profiles and a built-in 4 slice toaster, and a lifetime supply of printer toner that I bought 3 years ago and still have in my office because SOMEBODY ordered toner for the OfficeJet 1500, and our office only has the 1100. . . JANET!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid secretary. . . . lmao That is what you won. Now go away. Just go. Now. Don't make me call security. lolOriginally posted by WMCC GarySo What are you saying here? Okay...MattO and Gary...you can have lunch together! I'll have a gift cert for Cady's in Depot Town...come see me. (In my excitement I screwed up...again...it was a Ranchero, also used in the Fairlane...what do I know...it's a Ford)
The reason it was used (no one really asked but you might be curious) is that I really liked the eyebrow on the dash of the 4th gen Camaro and the Ford dash (with some tweaking) fit. When you see the way the "ears" of the original are fabbed into the new door panels (using 61 corvette arm rests...backwards) and the 6 Auto Meter Ultralite ll gauges in the insert you'll know I'm nuts!

No Problem Man. I look forward to seeing the car and meeting you at Superfest. The dash does look sweet in the car.Originally posted by Fuego396Okay...MattO and Gary...you can have lunch together!
