  • NEW pics and Q's about Lowering Springs?

Alright so here are a few pics of the car up at BR that i took yesterday.(more at http://s1018.photobucket.com/albums/...or1la/?start=0)

Now to the springs, my rear shocks decided they were better off dead, so now I HATE DRIVING MY CAR. The thing is if i replace the shocks i want to lower the car as well. The ONLY thing that is holding me back is the fact that my SLP headers are only 3.5 inches off the ground. What would your suggestion be for lowering the car.

Leave it stock height or say screw it and lower the car and hit my headers on every little bump.

Any springs that will lower only an inch tops? I wanted to go with Strano Springs and KYB shocks but its looking like that's not going to work. Has anybody just did the heater hose mod and left the front alone or would that look weird?

BMR makes a 1in drop. But I would go with a good spring like a Strano in the front and just leave the stock springs in the rear and do the hose mod.

As for lowering with your SLP headers that are known for being the lowest hanging headers they make. It really come down to function vs. fashion. Whats more important to you?

I would do a quality shock on all 4. heater hose mod in back and a good set of front lowering springs. Hotchkis maybe or strano...idk if he sells just sets though. The pro kit isnt bad either
