Well this is how it works, I got my Z pretty cheap 90% on my own. My parents didn't like me doing all the work on it so they told me to get something newer (even though im still doing work on the T/A) and they would help me out a bit. So, they told me give the Z to my sister when she gets her license (few months from now). They gave me what I paid for the Z to put in towards the T/A. Ive been working at a doctor's office since early middle school so I haven't really had any problems paying for it.
So basically, I lucked out and got a Daily Driver/Rain car until/if my sister gets her license.
But, on the other hand, My sister pretty much is getting the Z for free.

Dad paid for my current V6 'maro in horrible shape. . . $1100. Not bad, but I've put that much into it and he still threatens to report it stolen whenever I get pissed and leave. I'm selling it, giving him his money back, and buying a Z28, SS, T/A, or Formula. That'll show him. When I get in MY car and leave and there's not a damn thing he can do. He tried reporting my car stolen last Sunday when he started yelling at me and I just left.

definatly a bad ass color and the whole thing, hood, wheels, everything makes it look great....it's definatly sweet to have a kick ass car like that in HS!

after my S10 got totalled, my parents got me the loan for my car, but i pay for it all. i put $4g's down on my SS that i had saved up at the time, and now i pay for it every month! it's nice when your parents are generous enough to help ya out!

yea same, my dad put down the cash for my TA and i paid him back... which i completed last summer so the cars mine now! Yahooo! I am very glad that he helped get me into this car as the deal was just unbeatable.

i also borrowed money from my parents, and paid them back entirely. gotta love rents!
