Window Tinting

I was referred to DJ's Window Tinting on 9 and Gratiot because people told me it was "the absolute best". I just called and got an estimate and they said it would be $150 for the back window and the sides. Is this standard? Too expensive? Mediocre?

carlos... best tinter in port huron... he will do an f body front and hatch for 150...
right now hes working at the old fort gratiot auto sales across from meijer at the north end... he does great work and if you want graffics added into the tint i havent seen anyone better than him.. there is a bunch of golf carts outside his place...

I asked around for my camaro. Never did get it done but three places quoted me 160 for sides and back so i think that is pretty much standard.

I ended up getting 20% for the back and 35% on the sides. It cost $149 exactly and it looks beautiful. They didn't offer 10%, only 5%, so I went with 20% because 5% looked way too dark. I recommend this place. A+

i have gotten three of my cars done at Shaders on 15 and gratiot, it cost a little over 200 for my camaro, 5% all around with a windshield banner, they are awesome, my window on the driver side came off due to rain and they replaced it for free. i brought my 04 Strat R/T CP there, 20% all around with the banner for around the same price. i haven't had a problem with any of the tint yet, i had my old cavalier done there a couple years ago and it never messed up or came off. i highly recommend them. you have to call for an appointment though. i brought cars back and the gave me a few deals. hope it helps....
