Well I had to throw out my HID head light's, so now I'm back to my old shitty ass yellow sealed beam head lights. So I want some decent fog lights that would look good on a 3rd gen. Any suggestions? I had some from APC and they where pos. Wires started smoking and I found out they where discontinued.

You dont have the two at the bottom of the front fascia like a later trans am?

if you don't than thats probably not an 87, atleast i don't think it is. Its gotta be something older like an 84 or around there.Comment

if you want i can help you do that hedlight mod only takes like an hour with a dremel.. and 4 small lights cost me 35 bucks... i used pilot lights the only ones i could find that fit right...Originally posted by Frank The TankComment

Well my title says 87 and that what the person told me. Can anyone here decode vins? Theres the spot in the dash to instail the button but it's been factory filled in with a blank peice.

just type in 1987 firebird vin decoder on a search and you should get something. Not hard at all to understand either.Comment

Ok I did that, and yes it is an 87. I think the front bumper might of been replaced at 1 time or another, becuse the font is flaking very bad on it, and it's black underneath.
