Camaro hood on a 3rd gen T/A?

Has anyone ever tried putting a Camaro hood on a T/A or firebird? Now, I realize the headlights would be an issue, but if I go through with the mod I'm contemplating, they won't be there. I'm more concerned with how the front edges of the two hoods would compare. My other option is to weld replacement panels into the corner of my T/A hood in order to fill in the gaps.
Anyone have a 3rd gen Camaro hood laying around I could try to align just to see if it would work?
